* * * *1408
    Attempts to reach the glory of The Shining and almost gets there. A great own for any Stephen King fan, even it is was based on a short story. :: READ OUR REVIEW ::

* * *PIRATES OF THE CARRIBEAN 3
    Too little depth and too little Depp. We hope there is a part 4 because this one didn't carry the spririt of the other two.
* * * * *PIRATES OF THE CARRIBEAN 2
    A rare sequel that almost surpasses the original.  You know you've done something right when 2 1/2 hours seems like one. Does JD ever make anything bad?
* * * *DA VINCI CODE
    Ron Howard missed the boat by dumbing down the female lead.  However, a few surprise additions make this talkie ALMOST live up to expectations.
* * * * *KING KONG (PETER JACKON'S)
    Damn filthy Apes.  OK, wrong Ape movie, but they seem to have gotten the director right this time.  This is how you do a remake folks.  Only complaint: No Hobbits. :: READ OUR REVIEW ::

* * *SERENITY
    Take it easy fans, this is a four star movie for you guys, but we're sorry there are too many assumptions made to translate this to the general public. :: READ OUR REVIEW ::

* * *AMITYVILLE HORROR (REMAKE)
    Way too many skeletons in the closet lead to a picture that is trying too much to scare you and too little to entertain you.  We've seen it all before. :: READ OUR REVIEW ::

 SKELETON KEY
    Buoyed by good performances and a level of intelligence rarely found in horror flicks, Iain Softley's The Skeleton Key is a moody and effective frightener that runs from start to finish with discernment and skill :: READ OUR REVIEW ::

 LAND OF THE DEAD (DIRECTOR'S CUT)
    Nothing significant in here that wasn't on the big screen, but the extras are well worth the swipe of your credit card.  This should be in your colletion. :: READ OUR REVIEW ::
* * *LAND OF THE DEAD
    George A. Romero throws in a few unexpected laughs in the middle of some of the most creative blood-fests in cinematic history. :: READ OUR REVIEW | YAHOO TRAILER ::
* * * *HITCHHIKER'S GUIDE TO THE GALAXY
    Mix one part writing masterpiece, one part British humor, and two parts Hollywood and you've got yourself a surprising winner. Gratification for the hardened fan and just enough ummmphhh for the newbee.

* * *WHITE NOISE (w/SPECIAL ADVANCE LOOK AT THE DVD)
    A must see film that brings EVPs into the mainstream. Just enough plot twists and good pacing saves a horribly dry performance by Michael Keaton. :: READ OUR REVIEW | QUICKTIME TRAILER ::
* * * *THE FORGOTTEN
    A triumph for Julianne Moore shows you don't need a special effect budget
    to pull off a big time thriller. Keeps you guessing right till the end. Must be seen
    in the theater though.

* * * * *SIGNS
    A director comes into his own as you are pulled on a storyline you
    never expected. In this case, turning the TV off won't help your nightmares.
    Getting through the movie may.

* * *MATRIX REVOLUTIONS
    There are no revelations in Revolutions.  A flawed and poorly
    written summary to Reloaded makes for one of the worse
    sequels in film history.

* * * * * KILL BILL VOL.1
    A violent slasher that is as enjoyable as watching
    a comedy.  But don't bring the kids or the weak.  This
    painting deserves its R rating.
    :: READ OUR REVIEW ::
* * * * * MATRIX RELOADED
    If you don't like the plot you've come for the wrong reason.
    Without a doubt the best sequal since Empire.
    Needs to be seen twice at least.

* * * * STAR WARS 2: ATTACK OF THE CLONES
    Non-stop action.  This rollercoaster, unlike any SW
    before it, may be meant for only the SW fan.
    :: READ OUR REVIEW ::
* * * BLAIR WITCH TWO: BOOK OF SHADOWS
    One of the most anticipated sequels in history isn't really a
    sequal at all.  Be careful what you wish for, you might
    not get it.  But don't let that ruin the ride.

* * * * DOGMA: SPECIAL EDITION
    Ok, not really science fiction, but it is paranormal in its own
    respect.  Its time for this puppy to get its justice.
    :: READ OUR REVIEW ::
* * * EXORCIST:  RE-EDITED EDITION
    After so many years the hype was better than the added
    footage, but who needs added footage when your dealing
    with a classic.
